This piece was inspired by the beauty and vigilance of life in the Chihuahuan desert, including Big Bend National Park. The text on the front says "if you love something, protect it" in handwritten cursive, and the back says "Blooming Yucca in Big Bend • Protect Public Lands" The back is mostly blank so that it can be sent as a postcard to your desert-loving friend, or to a senator threatening that which we hold dear.
